Fierce Advocacy. Deep Expertise. Real Results for Injured Workers.
Zachary M. Kweller, founding attorney and President of the Law Offices of Zachary M. Kweller, has built his career on one mission: standing up for injured workers and making sure they receive the benefits and protection they deserve. With nearly twenty years of experience in workers’ compensation, from being an injured worker to claims adjusting to defense work to representing injured workers, Zachary brings unmatched insight into how the system works and how to win within it.
As a certified legal specialist in workers’ compensation law, Zachary combines strategic litigation skills with a client-first approach that has earned him a strong reputation across California. He began his career as a workers’ compensation claims adjuster, later spent five years defending employers and insurance companies, and now uses that insider knowledge exclusively to help injured workers level the playing field.
Zachary is a published author in Workers’ Compensation Quarterly and a frequent speaker for leading organizations, including the California Applicant Attorneys’ Association (CAAA). He currently serves as President of the CAAA East Bay Chapter and is on its Board of Directors and is a member of the Executive Committee for the Workers’ Compensation Section of the California Lawyers Association. These leadership roles keep him at the forefront of developments in the field.
Born and raised in Oakland, Zachary earned his J.D. and M.B.A. from Golden Gate University and his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. When he’s not advocating for clients, he enjoys time with his wife and two young children and cheering on the 49ers and Warriors.
